HISTORY

Establishment of Chuo Sangio Co. and commencement of importation of spectacles, lenses and refractometers from Germany-based company Rodenstock
1949
Establishment of Chuo Sangio Co.
1954
Became official distributor for Germany-based company OCULUS Optikgeräte GmbH
1957
Commencement of importation of medical equipment
1973
Opened medical instrument department branch office in Nagoya
1981
Commenced the importation and sales of laser equipment (Ar./CO 2)
1999
Became official distributor for Germany-based company A.R.C. Laser GmbH
2000
Relocated Tokyo office to Taito Ward
2002
Became official distributor for US-based company Vector Vision
2006
Became official distributor for US-based company Optovue Inc.
2007
Optos Co., Ltd. was established as the Japanese subsidiary of UK firm Optos plc

Became official distributor for US-based company SONOMED

Fukuoka branch office opened
